Jerry Lee Edwards passed away August 12, 2025 at the age of 67. He was born December 6, 1957 to the late Henry Earl Edwards and Netta Colleen Edwards.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph Earl Edwards and Phyllis Smith and granddaughter, Hailey Dykes.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lillie Goodman Edwards; daughters, Barbara Edwards, Carrie Edwards; step-daughters, Sherry (Greg) Kelly and Marie (Dion) Mahan; step-son, Daniel (Kim) Thrasher and James (Amanda) Thrasher; grandchildren, Airon Breed, Austin Levins, Deanna Mahan, eight step-grandchildren; twelve step-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Sara) Edwards.
Pallbearers will be Dion Mahan, Calvin Edwards, Derek Edwards, Jason Fray, Devin Jackson and William Salzarulo.
Graveside services will be Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodman Edwards Memory Garden at 4490 Alabama Highway 22 in Valley Grande with Pastor Jerry Harrison officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. Visitation will be at the family home beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025.
