Jerry Christopher Fail, age 23, of Palestine passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Jerry was born April 24, 2001 in Palestine, Texas to parents, Jimmie Fail and Melissa Reed. He worked as a commercial refrigeration installer and was a member of the Bassett Road Baptist Church in Palestine. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, skiing, and earned the Life Scout rank in Boy Scouts of America.
Jerry is survived by daughter, Ellie Rose; mother, Melissa "Missy" Moseley and Ray of Palestine; father, Jimmie "Bo" Fail of Palestine; sisters, Bethany and Kalvin Sanders of Palestine, Shelby and Chance Gardner of Palestine; brothers, Jimmie Jr and Kierra Fail of Palestine, Justin and Shai Moseley of Elkhart, Austin and Katie Doherty of Palestine, Tristin and Jenny Moseley of Palestine; aunts and uncles, Jackie and David Hodges of Athens, Loretta and Shawn Ward of Elkhart, Jeremy and Kirsten Fail of Grapevine, Eric and Rhonda Shull of Livingston, Kimberly Gochnour of Palestine, Kara and Chris Warren of Elkhart, Dana Jackson of Elkhart; grandparents, Judy and Greg Stanley of Palestine, Ann Moseley of Palestine, Jimmie Fail of Palestine; nieces and nephews, Mason Mosely, Korah Fail, Hazelee Fail, Hayden Gardener, Tori Gardener, Beau Sanders, Elena Doherty, Kaystin Doherty. He was preceded in death by grandmother, Aline Fail; grandfathers, Donald Underwood, Donald Moseley; uncle, Walter Keith; great-grandmother, Bonita Miles.
A celebration of life is pending.
