Jerry William Falls

Jerry William Falls, 80, of Palatka passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka following a very brief illness.
Jerry was born in Mobile, Alabama, and his family moved to Palatka when he was two years old. He grew up in Palatka and graduated from Palatka Senior High School in 1963. He later lived in Gainesville, Jacksonville, and Fleming Island before returning to Palatka 26 years ago.
His career was in computer programming, and he was first employed by the University of Florida, and then worked 40 years for Florida State College at Jacksonville, retiring in 2000. He later worked for NEFEC and did contract work for others.
He was a member and a Trustee of Calvary Baptist Church in Palatka.  He enjoyed playing his guitars, loved his dogs, and was a die-hard Alabama football fan … Roll Tide! He dearly loved his family and was one hundred percent a devoted family man. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford F. "Ram" and Gladys Falls; and a brother, Frank Falls.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Falls; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Jerry and Kim Falls; a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Karl Weaver; a sister-in-law, Patsy Falls; six grandchildren, Ashlie Warren (Jeff), Shelby Maddox (Blake), Jami McGahey (Zach), Tyler Humphrey (Luigi Mondi), Madison Sewell (Dylon), and Hunter Weaver (Gabby Montalvo); four great-grandchildren, Raegan, Finn, Tucker, and Georgia; a niece, Tricia Davis; and a nephew, Douglas Falls.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Palatka Memorial Gardens with Pastor Derek Ashford officiating.
