Jerry Fanta Obituary
Jerry J. Fanta, 86, of St. Paul, went home to meet his Lord on October 7, 2025, at Brookefield Park in St. Paul.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Grand Island. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be held in the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul. More details will follow.

Carol, you have my sincere sympathy in the loss of Jerry. He was a good friend of Mel and there are so many good memories of both of them! And of course I remember that wonderful music that we never tired of listening to! May God be with you! Joyce

I remember Jerry and Carol when I lined up their talent for the Care center residents at The Good Samaritan Society in Wood River. The residents enjoyed their programs and their presence as an uplifting part of their day. My sincere sympathy to the family.
