In Loving Memory of Jerry Purget Fisher
June 25, 1935 – November 11, 2025
It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Jerry, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the age of 90.
Born in Wagoner, Oklahoma on June 25, 1935, Jerry lived a life rich with love, laughter, and hard work. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Nola Faye and Clarence Siegel, and his father, John Fisher. He was a devoted husband to his cherished wife, Elaine, with whom he shared an extraordinary 70 years of marriage-a beautiful testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a beautiful family.
Jerry was a proud father to four children: Laura (Terry) Henze, Paul Fisher, Jane Fisher, & Judy (Jay) Hafemeister, a loving grandfather to ten grandchildren, Marshall (Sarah) Henze, Justin (Jennifer) Henze, Amber (David) Nass, Autumn (Rodney) Jones, Kyle (Emily) Fisher, Kevin (Elizabeth) Fisher, Leo (Ann-Marie) Spanuello, Elana Spanuello, Alexis Hafemeister, and Andrea (Matthew) Eisold and a doting great-grandfather to thirteen Great Grandchildren, Isobel, Mieryn, Cohen, Nolan, Tavin, Teyah, Lawson, Breyson, Oscar, Chloe, Henry, Adeline and Jae. His family was his greatest joy, and his presence will forever be felt in the hearts of those who loved him.
Known for his love for sports, golfi ng, racquetball, baseball, and football, hunting, attending children and grandchildren's' sporting events, going to Maxims every Monday, Friday dinners with family, his generosity, wisdom and work ethic. Jerry shared stories around the table with drinks again and again and again. He always offered a helping hand at everyone's homes with their projects. He lit up and loved seeing "Abby" run into the house.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Though he may have left this world, his love and legacy live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.
