He was born February 13, 1944 in Cumberland County, KY, son of Rhyman and Jamie Higginbotham Fletcher.
Jerry was retired from General Electric, an Air Force veteran and a Methodist.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Polston; and brothers, Don, Joe and Neal Fletcher.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Smith Fletcher; sons, Randy (Kelley) and Scott Fletcher; six grandchildren; and sisters, Frances Perry and Norene Riddle.
His funeral is 11am Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Penn Run Memorial Park. Visitation is 3-7pm Friday, September 2, 2022.
