Jerry Wayne Garrison

October 07, 1940 of Burlington, N.C., passed away peacefully November 16, 2025. He has joined his Parents, John Ernest and Ruth Garrison and his Sister, Judy in heaven. Mr. Garrison is survived by his sons Antony and Christopher Garrison, daughter-in-laws, Denise and Tamara Garrison, Grandchildren, Scotty Cashin, Brittny Galentine, Evan Cashin and Alex Pruitt, 3 Great-Grandchildren and numerous family members and friends.

Mr. Garrison was a true car enthusiast with a lifetime of car sales, showing, restoring as well as an avid Carolina Tar Heel fan celebrating years of basketball and football games.

After he retired, he returned to the family farm in Burlington to care for his father. During this time, he followed his father's footsteps and became a successful tomato farmer. He tended the fields with passion and love for many years.

He was an active member of Faith Christian Church in Burlington, singing the gospel in the choir every Sunday. This church has changed names but has been the Garrison family church for many years.

A funeral service to celebrate Jerry’s life will be held at 11:00 in the morning on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Faith Christian Church with the burial to follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends form 4:00 to 6:00 on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
