Jerry Grissom Obituary
Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Jerry Yates Grissom, age 81, of King Mill Rd. died Monday, December 12, 2022 at his residence. Graveside Service will be held 3:00PM-Monday, December 19, 2022 at Four Oaks City Cemetery in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Woody Parrish.
Mr. Grissom was born May 13, 1941 in Johnston County to the late Alfred Henry and Elizabeth F. Byrd Grissom. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Parrish Grissom; brothers, George Grissom, Pete Grissom, and sister, Sarah Martin. Mr. Grissom was a retired welder. He was a hard worker and a devoted father.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Grissom Stanley of Princeton, and Wanda Grissom Bryant of Four Oaks; step-daughters, Lisa Knight Mosley and Linda Knight Gonzalez both of Kenly; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1:30PM - 2:30PM Monday prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. Friends and family are welcome to visit with the family also on Sunday afternoon, December 18, 2022 at the home on King Mill Road, Four Oaks.
Flowers are welcomed.
