Jerry Hager Obituary
He was a native of Iredell County born January 17, 1938 a son of the late Jonah and Edith Marlowe Hager.
Mr. Hager had served in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired architech.
On August 10, 1974 ,he married Carolyn Arndt, who survives. Also surviving is one daughter: Sheila Elmore and her husband Troy of Catawba, three grandchildren: Ian Lentz of Rock Hill, SC, William Adam Ihle of Cornelius, NC and Olivia Elmore of the home, three nieces: Ronnie Stewart of Austin, Tx. , Mandy Gay of Houston, Tx. and Kelly Bauer of Houston, Tx.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hager was preceded in death by his brother: Archie Hager.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at Olivet Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Ronald Arndt. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening (Sunday) from 7 until 9 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
