Jerry Harding Obituary
Mr. Jerry Lincoln Harding, age 84, of Hatch Hill, New Albany, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Highlands Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Laporte, PA, after a brief illness.
Jerry was born, July 2, 1941, in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Lester Dean & Doris Viall Harding. He graduated from the Kenmore West High School, in Buffalo, NY, as a member of the class of 1959. He served in the US Army and worked in a lumber mill in the Buffalo area, until retiring to New Albany.
Jerry enjoyed horses.
He was a member of the New Albany Baptist Church.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his two brothers: Michael Harding and Lawrence Harding.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA with Pastor Debbie Marker, his pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, New Albany, PA.
Friends and family call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the start of the service at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 19, 2025, in the Homer Funeral Home, Dushore, PA.
Graveside Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Army Funeral Honor’s Detail.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
