Jerry was one of my Dad and Mother's best friends for all of my life. Our thoughts and prayers for you and your family are there with you.
I will celebrate Jerry's life as I celebrate my mom and dads life.

Grandpa, you will be so missed. I will always remember our ice cream runs and how you had candy stashes all over the house. I will remember your stories about your life that you loved to tell. Ellie and I will always think of you when we see planes now. Love you.

I have so many favorite memories with Grandpa (Jerry). He used to take us on these wild boat rides in Florida. His driving was a little wild-which I found exhilarating as a child. We would take the boat to a beach you could only reach by boat.
Every event in my life that was a milestone, he made the effort to show up and be there. I always knew who he was because he made himself so present in my life.
As I grew older into an adult with children, he would sit and watch the great grand kids play. He loved how much our son loved food. Grandpa (Jerry) would sometimes do the Saki shots at the local hibachi restaurant and always took part in trying to catch the food with his mouth along with the grand kids.
Grandpa (Jerry) and I would both discuss our love of cruises and traveling. He enjoyed hearing and seeing photos of travels and always had a story of his own to tell.
Some of my favorite quotes over the years were...
"What´s all that noise grandpa hears???"
"Sounds like someone had giggle soup."
As a child, we would all sneak in his room while he was sleeping to see if he would wake up. Grandpa was well known for his love of sleep and is amazing ability to fall asleep anywhere. My kids continued the tradition as recently as Christmas Eve.
I cherish the hugs, the "love you too"s, the stories, the get togethers...
He will live on through my memories and the memories of his great grand children-London and Lennon.
