Jerry Hopkins Obituary

He was born on February 16, 1954, in Humboldt to the late Thomas Benton Hopkins and Gladys Wilson Hopkins. For work, as Jerry would say, he was a professional truck driver. He was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by one sister, Sally Hopkins.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Roe and her husband Jeff of Trenton; son, Drew Hopkins and his wife Selena of Union City; brother, James Hopkins of Humboldt; two sisters, Brenda Hopkins of Humboldt and Mary Forsythe of Humboldt; and two grandchildren, Mason Roe and Gunnar Stafford.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Joey Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the funeral home and again on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour.
