Jerry Hornyak Obituary

Jerry G. Hornyak, age 75, of Liberty Boro, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 8, 2025. He was born December 6, 1949 in McKeesport, and was the son of the late George and Virginia (Billelter) Hornyak. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Dawn (Perry) Hornyak; son Jerry (Kara) Hornyak; daughter Joanna (Ron) Michalak; and four wonderful grandchildren Emma, Bailey, Jacob and Brennan. Jerry was a longtime employee of Bettis Atomic in West Mifflin, from where he retired. He coached both his son's and daughter's baseball and softball teams. Jerry loved to jog and would be seen running along the streets of Liberty Boro. There will be no visitation. Arrangements handled by the FORGIE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083.
