Johnson – Jerry Moes Johnson, Sr., age 83, of Baldwin, Florida passed away on July 21, 2025, at Ascensions St. Vincents Clay County in Middleburg, FL. He was born in Opp, Alabama on February 1, 1942, to the late Thelma Mae Johnson. Jerry was raised in Alabama and after a long life in Delaware he made Florida his home. He had a long successful career as a Truck Driver, traveling across the country for years and later served as a Yard Jocky at Chrysler. Jerry was proud of his longtime membership with the Teamsters Union, a brotherhood of hard-working individuals who he became close with over the years. More than anything, Jerry loved his family and was passionate about his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. He was married to his best friend, Evelyn Johnson, for 30 years until her passing and was blessed to find another love, Linda Ann Werring, who he married on July 8, 2004. Jerry found great joy in being a father and raising his babies. He also enjoyed being outdoors; hunting, fishing, raising chickens and pigeons. Jerry was a true treasure and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Mae Johnson; first wife, Evelyn Johnson; son, James Johnson; daughters, Diane McKinney and Mary Ann; and 3 sisters.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Linda Ann Johnson of Baldwin, FL; children, Debbie Harbaugh, Jerry M.
