Benson, NC: Mr. Jerry Lewis Johnson, age 76, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at UNC Clayton, surrounded by his loving family. Memorial Services on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 12:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
Mr. Johnson was born on December 2, 1949 in Johnston County to the late Rudolf Johnson and Dorothy Hunt Johnson. Shortly after graduating high school Jerry joined the Army to see the world after 16 years of service Jerry left the Army and started his next career as a prison guard. After several years of that Jerry entered his third career as a truck driver driving from coast to coast until his health started to decline. Ultimately cancer took Jerry way to soon from his friends and family.
Survivors include his son, Jeremy Lee Johnson of Benson; daughter, Jyllian Logan: grandchildren, Kaylee Williams, Landon Johnson and Kaylee Blake; great granddaughter, Emerson Williams along with numerous friends and family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 11:00AM to 11:45AM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
