Dunn, NC: Mr. Thomas Albert Barefoot age 72, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Wake Med in Raleigh, NC, surrounded by his loving family. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM Monday, February 16, 2026 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Lees Chapel Advent Christian Church, Four Oaks, NC. Burial will follow in Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn, NC. Rev. Rodney Raby will officiate.
Mr. Barefoot was born on June 17, 1953 in Harnett County, NC to the late Faison Monroe Barefoot and Dorothy Williams Barefoot. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in by his first wife, Kathy Lee Barefoot, and his sister, Alma Barefoot Barnes. Mr. Barefoot retired from UPS as a delivery driver. He was a member of Lees Chapel Advent Christian Church, Four Oaks, NC. Mr. Barefoot enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and his daily breakfast visits to Pat’s in Benson, NC. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Hobbs Barefoot; sons, Paul Griffin and wife, Karen, and Hayden Barefoot and wife, Candice; grandchildren, Conner Griffin and Maverick Barefoot; step-son, Brian Johnson and wife, Elizabeth; step-daughter, Christy Goad and husband, Brent; step-grandchildren, Tyler Goad, Brody Johnson and wife, Lilly, Jerzy Johnson, Camry Johnson, Brantlee Goad, and Brinxley Johnson, and step-great-granddaughter, Lovelynn Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Lees Chapel Advent Christian Church, Four Oaks, NC.
