Funeral services for Jerry Jordan will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North, with Rev. Cheryl Farr officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Jerry Jordan, age 78, of Collinsville, entered peacefully into Heaven on November 1, 2024.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Jerry was known for his passion for fishing, woodworking, and Nascar racing. He enjoyed tinkering and making bird houses in his shop. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
He was born on September 11,1946 in Meridian, MS, where he spent most of his life. He served and retired from the Mississippi Air National Guard, 186th Tactical Reconnaissance Group. He was a member of Druid Hills United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pat Jordan, his three children: Craig Jordan (Pam), Shelli Myers (Chris), Kelli Peavy (Mike), eight grandchildren: Ashley Breland (Bailey), Jesslyn Townsend (Hunter), Anna Claire Jordan, Jordan Myers, Justin Myers, Alicia Estes (Kanyon), Olivia Peavy, and Mattie Peavy, six great grandchildren: Jordan Breland, William Breland, Ava Prewitt, Holt Jordan, Arley Estes and Jude Estes, brothers, Joe and Jimmy Jordan, brother-in-law Joe Reid, several nephews, and his furry friend Rose .
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Bernice Jordan, his sister-in-law and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Chris Myers, Mike Peavy, Seth Jordan, Justin Myers and Kanyon Estes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Druid Hills United Methodist church.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
