Jerry Robert Lewis, age 83, of Litchfield, passed away Sunday December 21, 2025, at Springcreek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Adrian. He was born May 22, 1942, in Hillsdale to LaVern and Dorothy (Webster) Lewis. He married Marjorie Campbell, and she survives.
Jerry worked at several manufacturing plants throughout his career. He began at Plymouth Plush Door in Litchfield, then worked at Klein Tool in Jonesville and Game Time in Litchfield, before eventually retiring from Vaco Products. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed hunting, camping, and attending local car shows, especially cruising around in his 1958 Chevy Bel Air. He loved watching movies and was a huge James Dean fan. Most of all, Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved dogs.
Surviving besides his wife, Marjorie are five children, Robert "Bob" (Kathy) Lewis, Tina Kling, Gina (Jeff) Butcher, Marty Lewis and Kevin (Tammy) Lewis; grandchildren, Phillip and Steve Lewis, Josh and Brad Chapman, Ashley Harris, Aleasha Lewis, Jeff Butcher, Jr., and Dylan, Ashton and Corey Lewis; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy (Charles) Anson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Helen Baker, Sally Powell and Abe Lewis; grandsons, Tyler Butcher and Ryan Sorgenfrie; son-in-law, Thomas Kling; and daughter-in-law, Gricelda Lewis.
Funeral services for Jerry Lewis will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield with Pastor Mark Case officiating. Burial will follow at King Lake Cemetery in Hillsdale. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the funeral home in Litchfield.
