Jerry O’Neal Lewis, Sr.. 77, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home. Jerry will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
The Lewis family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday 4-8 p.m. and again on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Jerry was born on July 30, 1946, in Waverly, TN; son of the late Oscar and Mary Lewis.
He was drafted into the Army on October 3, 1966, and was honorably discharged in 1968. Jerry was the owner and operator of Jerry’s Roofing for 50 plus years. During his free time Jerry enjoyed camping with friends and family, he traveled in his RV to numerous places but enjoyed his travels to Florida the most. Jerry will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and neighbor.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his siblings, Oscar D. Lewis, Charles W. Lewis, Ricky Lewis, Nancy Jo Cameron, and Linda Campbell.
Left to cherish is memory is his loving wife, Janet Lewis; children, Jerry Lewis Jr., Randy (Angela) Lewis, Scott (Candi) Lewis, Tammy (Adam) Carlisle, Michelle (Richard) Huff, and Gabrial Cordell; sister, Billie Smith; seventeen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Noah Lewis, Joey Lingauer, Tyler Sheppard, Zachary Huff, Brandon Bryant, Brian Townsend, Jeremy Bolin, and Mayo Gonzales.
