Jerry Martin Obituary

Jerry Blas Martin III passed away on Thursday, December 19th, 2024 at the age of 51, at Salinas Valley Heath Care after a short battle with cancer.
Jerry was a lifelong resident of Hollister and San Benito County. Jerry was a cowboy at heart. He loved horses and all animals. He loved working on yards and tinkering with cars. Jerry had a big heart. He would often do yard work, knowing the people couldn't afford to pay him. If he had two dollars he would give it to someone who needed it more.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Blas Martin II.
He is survived by his mother Bonnie Infante, Stepfather Manuel Infante (Aromas), and his son Jerry Manuel Martin-Infante (Aromas, Age 11). His sisters Terri Sparrer and Jennifer Guerra (Hollister). Their husband, Max Sparrer, and Kevin Guerra. Nieces, Alyssa and Kayla Guerra (Southern California), Brittany Renz, husband Holden Renz (Hollister), Nephew Brad Sparrer (Hollister).
Per Jerry's wishes, there will be a private memorial with only immediate family.

Jerry and were close like siblings we are both red heads. He's always been such a big part of my life. I loved everything about him and we always laughed and he mowed at every farm I ever lived out worked at. When we were trying to catch my new horse she threw him around on the end of the row but he didn't let go, he broke his phone that day. We always laughed. I miss him already

You will be missed dearly!
Jerry always made me laugh and was always kind and considerate to me.
I remember the time I had Shark tickets and asked Jerry if he wanted to go.
We took his car, that we had to crawl out the window of to get in and out of.
We laughed when we thought of we should lock it.
It was his first Sharks game and he enjoyed it very much.
We both enjoyed spending that time together. He was always a good friend that I cared about dearly.
I will miss you Jerry Blas Martin lll.
