Funeral services for Rev. Jerry R. McMullen, Sr. will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 2:30 PM with Rev. Michael McMullen officiating. Interment will follow at Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Rev. Jerry was a dedicated pastor for over 50 years, serving others and preaching the Word. He enjoyed being outdoors while fishing and tending to his garden. He was a loving husband, father, "granddaddy", great-"granddaddy", brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rev. McMullen, age 84, of Meridian, died Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Poplar Springs Nursing Center of Meridian.
Rev. McMullen is survived by his children Jerry McMullen, Jr (Anita), Gail Fincham (Tom), and Michael McMullen; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Rev. McMullen is preceded in death by his wife, Myrle McMullen; parents, Robert and Tressie McMullen; and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be Jacob McMullen, Jordan McMullen, Aaron McMullen, Andrew McMullen, Simon McMullen, and David McMullen.
The McMullen family suggests memorials be made as donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the funeral home prior to service.
