Jerry Richard McNease

Mr. Jerry Richard McNease of Colquitt, GA died on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Miller County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Mothers Home Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Whittaker officiating. Interment will follow at Mothers Home Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Vic McNease, Jim McNease, David Helms, Darrin Blakenship, Chris Hayes, and Anthony Cobb serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Husky and David Sellers. A visitation will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Colquitt Funeral Home.
    Mr. McNease was formerly a professor at Bainbridge College, and a member of Mothers Home Freewill Baptist Church.
     He is survived by his wife, Brenda McNease of Colquitt, GA; three sons, Brandan (Laura) McNease of Colquitt, GA, Kyle (Jamie) McNease of Panama City Beach, FL, and Heath McNease of Colquitt, GA; five grandchildren, Graycee Lauren McNease, Ryles Gray McNease, Reed Thomas McNease, Mary Claire McNease, and Margaret Grace McNease; two brothers, Wayne (Debbie) McNease of Leesburg, GA, and Gene (Sandra) McNease of Thomasville, GA; and sister-in-law, Joyce McNease. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lowell McNease, and Ronnie McNease; and parents, James and Ozie Kirksey McNease.
