Linda McNease Obituary

She was born March 19, 1949 in Waycross to the late Elvin "Sonny" Carter and Laura Bennett Carter. Mrs. McNease formerly owned and operated Ruth's Beauty Shop, but she was a homemaker most of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis "Fred" McNease, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela McNease Yarbrough (Tony) of Blackshear; one son, Travis McNease (Lori) of Waycross; two grandchildren, Matthew Barnhill (Ashley) and Casandra "Cassie" McNease; two great grandchildren, Nathan Barnhill, Daisy Bigham and Alexa James; brother, Curtis Carter of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday (February 21, 2025) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. She will be placed to rest in Oakland Cemetery.
