Jerry Leonard McNeese, Sr.
May 7, 1942 – December 30, 2024
Jerry Leonard McNeese, Sr., 82, of Chickamauga, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 30, 2024. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late William and Emma McNeese. Jerry had lived in the Northwest Georgia area all his life and was a member at Liberty Baptist Church in Chickamauga, Georgia. Jerry enjoyed Harness Horse Racing, Fishing, and Dirt Track racing in his earlier years. He loved to talk on the CB radio. Jerry was a great family man, always enjoying camping trips with his family and spending time with each one. His family dearly loved Jerry, and he will be greatly missed.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, William Leonard and Emma Elizabeth McNeese.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Len (Mary Beth) McNeese of Rossville, Georgia; granddaughter, Kimberly McNeese; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Addison; brothers, Billy McNeese of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, Dave McNeese of Rock Spring, Georgia, and Rickey McNeese of Fort Oglethorpe; sister, Gayle Santonastaso of Ringgold, Georgia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family has arranged for a time to remember and honor Jerry. Friends and family are invited to join us on Sunday, January 5, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, January 6, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The funeral service, a time to celebrate Jerry's life, will be held on Monday, January 6, 2024, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Eric Greeson officiating. Following the service, we will proceed to Lakewood Memorial Gardens – South, 325 Greens Lake Road, Rossville, Georgia, for the burial. The family appreciates your prayers and support during this difficult time.
