He was preceded in death by his father, Ronith Chastain.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Chastain; sons, Eric (Jessica) Chastain and Cole (Shelby) Chastain; grandchildren, Annie, Weston, Sawyer, and Cal Chastain; mother, Dianne Chastain; sister, Lisa (Billy) Mount; nephews, Billy (Erin) Mount and Casey (Chelsey) Mount; niece, Macie Boren; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald and Rosemary Parrish; and sister-in-law, Lynn (Bryan) Boren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, at Way of the Cross Baptist Church with Pastors Gladden Coe, Tim Turnipseed, and George Gates officiating.
Interment will take place at Coulter Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Billy Mount III, Casey Mount, Bryan Boren, Calvin Langston, Thann Owens, Billy Reeves, and Billy Mount Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Parrish, Ronald Parrish, and Hunter Langston.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, and on Wednesday, August 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
