Jerry Lynn Reimers

A graveside service for Jerry Lynn Reimers, 78 will be held on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., at the Yukon Cemetery, 660 Garth Brooks Blvd., Yukon, OK, with Kelly Johnson officiating. Jerry was born on October 30th, 1943 in Calumet, Oklahoma to Norman and Leuna (Williams) Reimers and passed away on October 4th, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jerry was a resident of Bethany, Oklahoma and graduated top of his class from Calumet High School in 1961. He worked at Western Electric for nearly 40 years as an Electrical specialist. He enjoyed taking trips to Colorado, working on his cars, fixing anything that was broke, shooting guns, riding dirt bikes and 4 Wheelers at the farm, and spending time at the lake with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and anyone who knew him. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Leuna (Williams) Reimers; brother, Bill Reimers and, daughter, Stacey (Reimers) Cole. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley (Johnson) Reimers of Bethany; daughter, Deborah Bankson and husband Rick, of Louisiana; son, Gregory Reimers and wife Amanda of Bethany; son-in-law, Lee Cole of Mustang; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Janice Bomhoff and husband, Leon of Calumet, and Delores Payne and husband, Ed of Perkins, as well as many nieces and nephews.
