A memorial service for Jerry Lee Sigler will be held at on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, Michigan 48327. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Jerry, age 85, of Owosso, Michigan, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Owosso. He was born on November 4, 1940, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Wilson Lewis Sigler and Catherine Marie (Tiers) Sigler.
Jerry was a proud U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran and an alumnus of Pontiac Northern High School, Class of 1959. A true engineer in both work and life, Jerry had a solution for just about everything. He generously shared his skills by repairing vehicles, remodeling homes, and building additions for family and friends.
Jerry especially enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife, Linda, collecting coins, and gardening. His generosity, skill, and quiet dedication to those he loved will be remembered always.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sophrona Sigler; his parents, Wilson and Catherine Sigler; his son, Randall Sigler; his brother, Robert (Silvia) Sigler; and his sisters, Karen (Fergus) Tait and Susan Scott.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Angela Groleau, Heidi (Daniel) Diehm, Elizabeth "Beth Anne" (Ryan) Bradford, and Rick (Lynn) Sigler; his brother, William (Linda) Sigler; his brother-in-law, Randall Scott; six grandchildren: Tina Stauble, Jessica Groleau, Jeanette Groleau, Preston Bradford, Chelsea Sigler, and Abby Sigler; and six great-grandchildren: Tessie Stauble, Aiden Stauble, Josh Koontz, Asjia Williams, Sonia Williams, and Mary Ann Williams, along with a host of extended family and dear friends.
Jerry's legacy of service, craftsmanship, and love will live on through all who knew him.
