Jerry Stanger Obituary
ALBANY - Jerry Stanger, 94, passed away, Friday, October 3, 2025, with his loving family by his side. Born in the Bronx, he is the son of the late Anne (nee Engleman) and Simon Stanger.
Jerry was predeceased (2000) by his wife Anna (Wilson) Stanger. Jerry is survived by his daughters, Susan Stanger (Roy Berns), Jill Stanger (Mike Hagan), and Kim Delisle (Alan Delisle); granddaughters, Abby (Sal), Lindsey, Alexa (Nate), Molly (Steven), Alaina (Addison); and his great-granddaughter, Annie; and his companion, Melanie Woodard.
Funeral services for Jerry will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., at Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave. Albany, N.Y. 12206. Burial will follow at Congregation Ohav Shalom Cemetery, Church Rd., in Guilderland.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Jerry's love of dogs, donations may be made to The Mr. Mo Project, the project rescues senior dogs, mrmoproject.com/donate/
