Jerry W. Sutton, age 73, of Logansport, passed away Monday March 31, 2025, in his residence.
Born July 20, 1951, in St. Charles, Virginia to the late Charles and Lorena (Farley) Sutton. On September 1, 1979, in Deer Creek, IN he married Jane A. Henry who survives.
Jerry had Retired from General Tire Company after 10 years of service. He has also worked at Wilson Foods for 23 years. He was a member of Elks Lodge #66.
Survivors, including his wife Jane, are one daughter, Breana (James) Brown, Walton, IN; half sister, Lois Sutton, VA; three grandchildren, Seth Brown, Blake Brown and Jackson Brown; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 pm Monday April 7, 2025, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery. After the burial everyone is welcome at the Elk’s Lodge for a gathering.
An Elk’s Service will take place just prior to funeral services on Monday at the funeral home.
A time of visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm on Monday, April 7, 2025, in the Gundrum Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Elk’s Lodge #66 Cancer Research Fund.
