Jerry William Thixton

Jerry William Thixton, age 66 of Carmel, IN died Oct. 21, 2007. Jerry was born June 24, 1941 to Robert William and Louise (Bakehorn) Thixton, both whom have preceded him in death.He was a retired teacher fo the Indiana School of the Deaf, working over 20 yrs., previously he worked for AUL as a computer programmer. Jerry was past president for the Indiana Assoc. of the Deaf (IAD), a member of the National Assoc. of the Deaf (NAD), an Alumni of the Indiana School of the Deaf, and was a graduate of the Gallaudet College. He was preceded in death by a son, Robin William Thixton. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy R. (Hensley)Thixton;children,Ty L. Thixton, Jenny L. Thixton-Stoffer, and Jason W. Thixton; grandfather of Sydney and Sophia Thixton; a sister, Jacqueline A. McBroom.
