Jerry Towle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tasker Funeral Home - Dover on Jan. 10, 2023.
Dover NH-Jeremy Dean Towle, 67, of Dover unexpectedly passed away at home on January 7, 2023.
Born on January 29, 1955, he was the son of Dean A. Towle and Mary P. (Bickford) Goodell, both of Dover, NH.
Jerry attended Dover schools, and graduated from Clovis High School in Clovis, NM, in 1973. He went on to honorably serve his country in the US Navy before returning home to live in Dover. He was dedicated to IBEW Local Union 490 and worked as an electrician for 28 years. Not one to sit still, he found his true calling in his retirement, driving for C&J Bus Lines, where he thoroughly enjoyed meeting new friends of all ages.
If you knew Jerry, you loved Jerry.
His greatest love in life was his family, both immediate and extended. Jerry's heart was immense, which was easy to see as he was always available and willing to help family and friends.
He loved to make people laugh and did so easily with his never-ending supply of stories.
Jerry was the life of the party, especially if there was dancing. His dance moves are legendary.
Jerry loved golf, playing softball, playing basketball, (he was competitive and never let his kids or grandkids win!), going to UNH football games, taking drives with Bear, visiting friends and family, doing crossword puzzles, and coffee with Kimmy.
He was very curious about the world and people. He was not a big fan of technology and the internet, until he discovered Google.
He loved to Google.
He was an avid Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots fan, and loved Sunday football with Di and Al. He was a member of The Elks, The Moose, and the American Legion. He took trips to Jonesport every year with Harmon, Al, Gypsy, Billy, Dave and Freddy, and cherished Tuesdays in Alton with Dave Pierce.
Jerry leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Debra Maria Beaudette; his daughter Brynn Mary Jabre and her husband Jim; his sons, Dean Ziggy and Jeremy Alden Towle. He adored his grandchildren, Dylan, Jake, and Allie Jabre. He is also survived by his brothers Mark Towle, John Duval and Jim Duval; his sisters Deborah and Melinda Towle; and his stepmother Patricia Roux. He also leaves behind many cousins who were like siblings, nieces, nephews, and especially Marilyn "Aunt Mooney" Pierce, Lawrence "Uncle Larry" Bickford, and his cousin Jim, who has been like a brother since they both were born a day apart.
A visitation will take place on Monday January 16, 2023 from 3:00PM-6:00PM at Tasker Funeral Home located at 621 Central Ave, Dover NH 03820 with a Funeral to follow.
A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at the Dover Moose Lodge located at 45 Chestnut Street, Dover NH 03820, immediately following the service.
