Jerry Richard Ulry

Jerry Richard Ulry, 75, of Dunnellon, Florida, entered into his rest on October 16, 2024, at his home in Dunnellon, Florida.
Jerry Ulry was born in Columbus, Ohio to Cecil and Grace Ulry on June 27, 1949. Jerry grew up as a member of the Kirkersville Apostolic Church in Kirkersville, Ohio. After graduating from Watkins High School, Jerry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and honorably served in the Vietnam War. After completing his military service, Jerry built a long career as a tradesman carpenter. Many times, his childhood church was the recipient of his labor and talent. In his retirement years he became a devoted grandfather.
Jerry is survived by his wife Marilyn Ulry; his children Derek and Christopher (wife Deborah); his grandchildren Skylar, Zach, Kyle, William, and Jonathan; and his great-grandchild Kaiden; his brothers Walter and Donald; his sisters Juanita, Sally, Bonnie, Betty, and Susan. He is preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Grace; his brothers Jim and Thomas; his sisters Carol and Ruth; and his grandson Stephen.
The funeral service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery on October 23, 2024, at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held at Robert's of Ocala Downtown Chapel on October 23, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
