Jerry Donald Walden

Jerry Donald Walden, 71, of Haughton, Louisiana, passed away on May 22, 2025. He was born on October 27, 1953, to Chester Walden and Doris Chandler Walden. Jerry was a proud graduate of Haughton High School and a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Haughton. He worked as a painter for over 50 years, dedicating his life to his craft with great skill and commitment.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth Ann "Scotty" Walden.
Jerry is survived by his twin brother, James Walden (Patty); and brother, Wayne Walden, children, J.D. Walden and Jessica Teague (Robert); stepdaughter, Kelly Ford (Rusty); and nieces Janet "Jan" Frakes Johnson (Criss) and Rachelle Walden and many grandchildren, cousins, extended family, and a wide circle of loving friends.
Jerry will be remembered for his gentle spirit, devotion to his family and faith, and his lifelong commitment to his trade. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
