Jerry Wayne Weaver, 72, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on November 16, 2025. Born on September 6, 1953, in Davidson County, he was the son of the late Edward Weaver and Ruby Hartmann Weaver.
Jerry lived a life rooted in faith, family, and simple things. He had a love for tractors, excavators, and all things heavy machinery. Above all, nothing brought him more joy than his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the center of his world.
In 1976, Jerry married the love of his life, Blenda Pickett Weaver. Nearly 50 years of marriage and unwavering devotion made their bond truly special. She was his soulmate, and together they built a life filled with love, faith, and family.
Jerry was a faithful member of New Vision Baptist Church, where he rarely missed a Sunday. He loved God wholeheartedly and cherished his church family. He also had a deep love for singing and music.
In addition to his parents and wife, Jerry was preceded in passing by his two brothers, aCherishing his memory are his two sons, Jason Weaver and Corey Weaver (Jessica), and his two grandsons, Cristian and Cortland, who brought him so much joy, and his two brother Larry and David Weaver, and nd two sister-in-laws, Linda and Reba Weaver.
A graveside service will be held on 1:00PM Thursday, November 20, 2025, at New Vision Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Tracey Webb officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00pm ~ 8:00pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
Jerry will be remembered for his gentle heart, his steady presence, and the legacy of love he leaves with all who knew him.
