Jerry Whitmire Obituary
Jerry Allen Whitmire, 76, of Gardendale, Alabama, passed away on May 20, 2025. He worked as a Service Technician with Birmingham Toledo for over 50 years. Outside of work, Jerry enjoyed gardening, playing with his granddaughters whom he loved dearly, and taking trips to his "happy place," the beach.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Mary Whitmire, and his brother, Tim Whitmire. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie K. Whitmire; his son, Patrick Whitmire (Yvette); his daughter, Jessica Oswalt (Chris); his sisters, Penny Benson (Steve) and Vickie Howell (Earl); and his grandchildren, Haley Whitmire, Karsyn, and Kinsley Oswalt, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A memorial service is being planned, but details are not yet finalized.
