Service, on October 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Zion C.M.E, 104 State Hwy 64, Ben Wheeler, TEXAS.

Jerry and I go a long way back. We were friends in school and as young men we remained friends even though he moved out of the area. I will miss our telephone calls and his visits wherever he was in the Tyler area. Rest dear friend and know that we shall always be friends. God has a place in His heavenly band for you and your guitar. Jerry, I did not always say it but I am glad we were friends. Now don't forget to save a place for your old friend (Dogman) and we can talk about the cars and how we can make them run. Miss you old friend. James and Donnie Gaines
