Jerry M. Woolems, 77, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his home. He was born March 16, 1944 in Princeton to the late Cecil and Opal (Utterback) Woolems. He was a graduate of Bloomington High School class of 1964. Jerry served his country and was a veteran of the U. S. Army and lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He retired in 2007 and was a 53-year member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 136 in Evansville. He and his wife attended Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Diane (Luttrull) Woolems; 3 children, Michele Gale (Tim) of Grand Blanc, MI, Angela Woolems of Bloomington, IN and Travis Woolems (Shauna) of Princeton; 5 grandchildren, Megan, Miranda, Hope, Shawn and Tyler; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy Woolems of Mexico; and a sister, Jill Snyder of Bloomington, IN.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rick Thompson; a brother, John Woolems and a brother-in-law, Keith Kircher.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Fort Branch. Visitation will be from 10 am until the hour of service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
Military rites will be provided by the Retired Military Veterans organization.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at stjude.org. Envelopes will also be available at Colvin's.
Condolences may be expressed online at www.colvinfuneralhome.com. The Colvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Woolems family.

Jerry and I were in the same apprentice class back in 69. He was alot of fun to be around then and all through working days together. Never did I see Jerry have a bad day. I'm gonna miss him.
