It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Allen Wronski, beloved Husband, Father Grandfather, Brother, and friend, who departed this life on August 24, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on May 27, 1942, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jerry was a remarkable man whose kindness, compassion, and love for family and friends left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Preceded in death by parents Violet and Anthony Wronski, and sister Carmen Wronski. He is survived by his devoted wife, Arlene Elizabeth Wronski (née Will), with whom he shared a beautiful life together after their marriage on November 30, 1964, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in
Maplewood, MN. Jerry's legacy continues through his two daughters, Lynn Chute and Kari Wronski. Grandchildren Spencer Chute (Anna), Claudia Chute and Charlotte Chute as well as his brother Richard Wronski (JoAnn), will miss him dearly.
Jerry's life was intricately woven into the fabric of his family's business. He began his career working alongside his father, Tony, at The Aqua City Motel in Minneapolis. Later, he transitioned to The Emerald Inn in Maplewood, where he continued to build lasting memories with his family. After many rewarding years in the hospitality industry, Jerry embraced retirement as a Snowbird in Naples, Florida, where he found joy in the sun and the company of good friends.
Jerry had many passions that enriched his life. He found great pleasure in snowmobiling adventures with his buddies and friends and family, a pursuit that brought him great joy and camaraderie. He had a deep love for cars and was known for his keen interest in the latest television technology, particularly to enjoy his beloved cowboy westerns in his later years. His interests were a testament to his vibrant spirit and zest for life.
In addition to his hobbies, Jerry's kindness and compassion were evident in all aspects of his life. He fostered meaningful connections throughout his life, both in his work and with friends. Jerry's warmth and genuine care for others were felt profoundly by all who crossed his path and remain a cherished memory for those who loved him.
A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis on September 15, 2025. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a service at 1:00 PM. A luncheon will take place post service in the church lounge, allowing family and friends to gather, share stories, and honor Jerry's memory.

Jerry had planted hundreds of white pines up at his cabin in northern MN, and this would be very meaningful to him.
As we remember our beloved husband, father and grandpa, we remember him for the love he shared, the kindness he extended to others, and the compassion and care he brought into our lives. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
