Jerry Yeisley 6/21/38 to 8/16/25
Jerry Yeisley, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on June 21, 1938, in Ava, Missouri, Jerry lived a long and full life rooted in family, tradition, and craftsmanship.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara Yeisley and a devoted father to four daughters: Wayna Dean and her husband Jason; Amy Baremore and her husband Brian; Carrie McCullough and her husband Matt; and Pamela, who preceded him in death. Jerry also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought joy to his later years.
Jerry was the son of Frank Yeisley and Ellen Eldena (Privett) Yeisley, both of whom preceded him in death. His early years in Ava laid the foundation for a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a deep appreciation for nature.
A man of many talents and interests, Jerry found great pleasure in fishing and spending time outdoors. He had a passion for woodworking that reflected his patience and attention to detail-qualities that were evident in all aspects of his life. Whether crafting something with his hands or casting a line into quiet waters, Jerry found peace in simple pleasures.
Jerry was also a proud Mason for over 50 years. His long-standing commitment to the Masonic fraternity spoke to his values of integrity, service, and brotherhood.
His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the countless memories shared with those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all whose lives he touched.
