Jesse P. Cochran

Jesse P. Cochran, 61, passed away at his home on December 25, 2025, after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. Jesse will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his example of hard work and inner strength.

Jesse has lived the last 23 years in Montrose, Colorado, raising his family and working in the local restaurant industry as a general manager and business owner. His greatest joy and proudest accomplishment are his two sons. His happiest times were spent with his family, biking, hiking, skiing, dirt biking, and spending time outside working on projects.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 31 years, Leeann, his two sons, Nate and Brice, mother Mary Alta Cochran, sister Shelley Cochran, brother-in-law Dennis Shirley, father-in-law Charles Moroni, a niece and three nephews. Jesse is preceded in death by his father Delbert DeLayne Cochran, sister Vali Chrzanowski and mother-in-law Sharon Moroni.

Donations in Jesse’s memory would be greatly appreciated to Hope West Hospice, 725 South 4th Street, Montrose, Colorado, 81401. The family is being assisted by Crippin Funeral Home. A celebration of life with family be held at a later date.
