Jesse Kasper

Jesse Kasper passed away Friday, June 17th, 2022 after a brief illness. He was born in Moscow, ID on August 30, 1933 to Sebastian "Boss" and Edna (Schauman) Kasper. He married Evelyn (Anderson) on October 10th, 1953 in Appleton, WI. They raised nine children in Hilbert, WI.
Jesse Kasper graduated from Menasha High School in 1951 and then served an apprenticeship as a machinist/millwright for Consolidated Papers in Appleton, WI. He transferred as a millwright/machinist in 1982 to Stevens Point. He retired at the age of 70, with 50 years working for the same company. He loved playing cards telling stories of his childhood and life experiences, and snickering while doing so, working, walking his beloved Einstein and Dusty, spending time with family, and instigating with all those he loved.
Jesse is survived by children, Sandy Weber, Steve (Kathy) Kasper, Karen (Duncan) Kivell, Connie Larsen, Theresa (Rob) Kersten, Lorena (John) McLoone, Gerard (Kay) Kasper, Aaron (Erin) Kasper, special friend, Shirley Linzmeyer, sister, Eileen Smith, and sister-in-law, Yvonne Hannemann, 17 grandchilren, David (Jenny) Weber, Lakisha Jackson-Kasper, Adam Kesler, Stephanie (Jon) Kichefski, Matt (Jenny) Kivell, Charles "JJ" Kasper, Justin Kesler, Jessica (Larry) Brazzell, Luke (Angela) Larsen, Jack (Chelsey) McLoone, Brynn (Tyler) Kasper, Molly McLoone, Bryson Kasper, Robert John Kersten, Maggie McLoone, Kathleen McLoone, and Oscar Kasper, and great-grandchildren, Rachel, Mason, and Carter Kichefski, Charlie Weber, Kayliah Stewart, Coralee, Kenady, Kyla, Xander, and Croix Kivell, Grace, Serenity, Raiden, and Rowan Brazzell, Aubrey Kesler, Nora Larsen, and Estelle Jean McLoone.
He is preceded in death by his wife and parents, daughter, Jean Kasper, sisters, Zelda Meyer, Dorothy Linzmeyer, and Mildred Miller, brothers, Donald and Michael Kasper, brothers-in-law, Harold Halverson, Sylvester Nett, Harold Meyer, Roy Linzmeyer, Elmer Miller, and Carl Smith, and sons-in-law, Dave Weber, Duane Kesler, and Richard Larsen.
A service will be held on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022 at Wichmann's Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel at 1592 S. Oneida St., Appleton, Wi from 4-8 p.m. We will have a blessing and a sharing of memories at 7 p.m.
