Jesse Benjamin Killingsworth II

Funeral Service for Jesse Benjamin Killingsworth II, 84 of Gadsden, Alabama will be held, Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home. Bro. Joe Robinson, Bro. Eric Powell, and Bro. Larry Perkins will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Cemetery. Family and friends will have visitation at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Mr. Killingsworth passed away on March 28, 2026 at his home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Benjamin and Alma Bell Killingsworth and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish the memory of Jesse, is his loving wife, Phyllis J. Killingsworth, his children, Jesse Benjamin Killingsworth III and Tonia Renea Killingsworth, his grandchildren, Jesse Benjamin Killingsworth IV, Justin Levi Killingsworth, Destiny Killingsworth Werner, Brittany Killingsworth, Crystal, Donnie, Ava Fae, Holly Kay, and Gavin, great-grandchild, Kade, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jesse was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. He attended Barber School at a very young age and worked alongside his father as a barber for several years. After the passing of his father, Jesse was called into the Ministry and spent almost 10 years studying and obtained his Doctorate Degree in Theology. Along his travels and Pastorship of many churches, he also attended Zales Jewelers School and a highly recognized suit and clothing Taylor School. He loved playing Gretsch Guitars, and collecting guns. He was the Texas #1 Six Shooter Fast Draw winner for three years. He was a blessing to everyone he met and lovingly shared his wisdom and experiences with those who desired to learn more. He will be dearly missed.
