Jesse Nolan O'Neal, 53, of Shirley, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Henry Co. Hospital in New Castle, Indiana
He was born May 16, 1971 in San Isidro, Costa Rica, the son of William H. O'Neal and the late, Alicia C. (Corrales) O'Neal.
Jesse loved talking to people, garage sales, riding his bicycle, making jewelry and collecting toy semi tractors. If you knew Jesse, you knew he loved to sing along to music and was always seen wearing his Hawaiian shirts. After graduating from Knightstown High School, Jesse, along with his father, had his own traveling bakery and would go to many towns selling his product. He was also member of the Wilkinson Church of Christ.
He is survived by his siblings, Telowa "T.J." Rollings of Knightstown, Cristiana O'Neal-Ibanez of Shirley, Solomon O'Neal of Wilkinson, and Bethel (Jon) Marcy of New Palestine; nieces and nephews, Mark Hawk, Christylee Vickers, Katherine Stuck, Joshua Marcy, Sara Frey and Candis O'Neal; and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Prudence Griffith; and niece, Rachel Marcy.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Home-Condo Chapel at 2:00P.M., officiated by Dennis Spegal and Dan De Angelo. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 PM. prior to the service. Burial will be at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
