With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Louise Harvey, a beloved mother and friend, who left us on October 14, 2025. Louise was born on December 22, 1930, in Indianapolis, IN, and spent her life in the heart of Indiana, residing in Greenfield. She was 94 years old at the time of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Frank Earl and Gladys Mae (White) White.
Throughout her life, Louise was known for her warm spirit and her talent as a beautician and dedicated to her craft. Her other skills and passion were Archery winning many competitions in the state, including the Indiana State Champion in 1966, and loved bowling in her younger years, scoring many 300 point games! She was an avid painter and loved making crafts and giving them away to people to make someone's day a little brighter.
Louise is survived by her children, daughter, Judy (John) Walton of Greencastle, Charlie (Karla) Teater of Winnebago, Il, and Candy (Kirk) Benton of Bryson City, NC; stepchildren, Jon (Diane) Teater of Chickamauga, Georgia, Marsha (Mike) Richey of Shirley, Linda (Jerry) Jordon of Shirley, Sally (Terry) Molden of Wilkinson and Betsy (Ronnie) Willis of Shirley; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sherman Harvey; brothers, Norman Stanley White and Don White; sisters, Barbara Sparks and Betty Hamilton; step-son and his wife, Steve and Judy Harvey; and great granddaughter Rhea Kleine.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory- Condo Chapel, 130 South Main Street, Wilkinson, Indiana 46186. The funeral ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Darryl Denney officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff and aids of Springhurst Health Campus and Suburban Hospice for the care and friendship you have given our Mother the last 18 months. She loved you all and we will never forget your kindness.
Rest in peace, Louise Harvey. Your spirit and love will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be gifted to Center Christian Church 9112 N 50 W. Knightstown, In 46148
