Jessica Ann Compton, of Fairview, Texas, passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 43. She was born on February 7, 1982, in Orange, California, to her loving parents, James David Grisham and Pamela Jean (Grisham) Walter.

Jessica grew up in California and graduated from Adolfo Camarillo High School. She went on to earn her associate degree from Moorpark College before beginning a career as a medical coder, where her attention to detail and dedication were deeply valued.

On June 19, 2004, Jessica married the love of her life, Aaron Compton, in Camarillo, California. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to their family.

Beyond her professional career, Jessica was a gifted artist and teacher. She shared her passion for pottery through classes at the McKinney Art House, where she inspired others with her creativity. She also enjoyed baking bread, crocheting, and helping at her daughter's schools in any way she could. Her hobbies reflected her warmth, patience, and love of creating things that brought comfort to those around her.

Jessica's greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Aaron Compton; her beloved daughters, Emily Compton and Allison Compton; her parents, Pam and Jim Grisham; her sisters, Lauren Nagel and Amy White; her mother- and father-in-law, Merrikay and Alan Compton; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many other dear relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

Jessica will be remembered for her kind heart, creative spirit, sense of humor, and the deep love she shared with her family and community.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 27, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at 501 Lakewood Drive, Fairview, Texas 75069. This will be a come-and-go gathering to share memories and honor her life.

In place of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations made to Oligo Research through the National Brain Tumor Society, in her memory.
