Jessica Erin Lane Coleman, 36, was called home to be with The Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love, faith and Jesus Joy. Jessica, a beloved mother, wife, daughter and friend embodied the love of Jesus in every aspect of her life, touching the hearts of everyone fortune enough to know her.
Jessica was born January 26, 1988, to Tony and Rhonda Baker Lane in Lexington, Kentucky. She grew up to be a beacon of light in her community. Her devotion to her faith was evident to all, as a dedicated member of Sand Spring Baptist Church. She lived her life as a testament to her love for Jesus spreading that joy everywhere she went.
Jessica's greatest joy came from her family. She cherished every moment with them through countless travels both big and small. Everyday was a memorable adventure with Jessica. Her love for her family was another perfect example of her Jesus Joy.
In addition to her loving husband, Kyle Coleman of Lawrenceburg, Jessica leaves behind her daughters, Makenna Kaye Coleman, Mia Grace Coleman, and Kylee Jo Coleman; parents, Tony and Rhonda Lane of Lawrenceburg; a sister, Chelsea (Ben) Hartley of Lawrenceburg; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Roberta Baker of Versailles; paternal grandmother, Dana Lane of Versailles; nieces and nephews, Wyatt Coleman, Blair Hartley and Beckett Hartley; father and mother-in-law, Steve and Donna Coleman of Frankfort; a brother-in-law, Sam Coleman of Versailles; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jessica was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Wayne Lane; sister-in-law, Jessica Coleman; and a cousin, Steven Baker.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00a, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Sand Springs Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, KY, with Pastor Mike Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery in Versailles, KY with Dave Moore, Lane Moore, Ronald Baker, Ben Hartley, Sam Coleman, Jon Loman, Loren Wells, and Bobby Murphy serving as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 4:00p until 8:00p, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the church.
Jessica's legacy of love, faith and Jesus Joy will forever be remembered by those who knew her. As we mourn her passing, we celebrate the light she brought into our lives, a light that continues to shine brightly in the love she shared, lives she touched, and her three precious little girls.

I did not know Jessica very well, but I knew her mother, Rhonda. I worked with Rhonda at ECC, in preschool. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how it feels to lose a child, but I know God is holding you up. To Jessica's family, I am so sorry. May God continue to lift you and comfort you.

My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I cannot imagine the pain over the loss of this beautiful Angel. God has her now, and I know you all believe that, but you will miss her just the same. I am praying for peace, comfort and solace at this difficult time.
