Jessica Legge

Mead, OK- Jessica Legge passed from this life on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 56. Jessica was born on Sunday, January 28th, 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Michael and Patricia Bonds (Warford).
Jessica grew up and was raised in Van Horn, Texas and settled back in Bryan County in 1999. Jessica had been together with Allen Legge since August 21st, 1984 and marrying on March 10th, 1988. She has worked as an EMT, a licensed cosmetologist, and had her own home daycare for many years. Her family can attest that she loved taking care of kids.
At a young age, Jessica absolutely loved anything that had to do with Winnie the Pooh. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching the news. Jessica liked spending time at the pool and swimming and working out at the gym when she could. Jessica loved life, she was passionate with being with Allen, all the kids, and grandkids. She and Allen are members of the Mead Baptist Church.
Jessica was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Musick in 2008; step-dad, David Musick in 2009; brother, Keith Lamar; aunt, Ruth Morris; and uncle, Ronnie Warford.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Allen; mother of Jessie, Becky, and Patrick; step-mom to James, Allen, Missy, and Michael; adopted kids Telena and Isaiah; her sisters Candy and Nikki; 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and other extended family members in the Durant area.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:13 PM on Sunday, December 1st, at Gordon Event Center located at 305 N. 2nd Street in Durant. Pastor Kerry Groce will officiate.
Everyone is invited to attend to celebrate Jessica's life and share a story.
