Jessica Sade Nelson

Mrs. Jessica Sade Nelson, age thirty-seven, departed this life and entered into eternal rest Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born August 3, 1988 in Vance County, made her home in Roxboro and was a member of Zion Christian Center.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Ernest "Pete" Clifton; grandparents: Margaret Jones and Leroy and Leona Clifton; and her father-in-law, Tedinol Nelson.

She leaves to cherish precious memories, her husband, Taylor Nelson of the home; children: Kennedy, Christian, Tyler and Taylor; parents: Sharon McNeil of Henderson, North Carolina, Jonathan McNeil (Lisa) of Durham, North Carolina and Berenice Palicier of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; her grandmother, Geraldine McNeil of Henderson; siblings: Sharitta McGhee (Frank) of Roxboro, Jacquetta Wilson of Henderson, Jonathan McNeil, Jr. (Natalie) of Roxboro and Terrell Alston (Tabitha), also of Henderson; brothers-in-law: Bruno Nelson and Rony Palicier, both of Fort Lauderdale and Oberd Ladiny of New York; and a host of other additional loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 2:00pm at Zion Christian Center, 2850 Virgilina Road, Roxboro, North Carolina with the Reverend Danny Johnson, Pastor, providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Zion Christian Church Cemetery, Paradise Gardens, 175 Loftis Loop Road, Roxboro, North Carolina 27574.

A Public Viewing and Visitation will be Friday at Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services from 1:00pm to 6:00pm with the family present during the last hour from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Her body will lie in state Saturday at the church from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, one hour prior to the service.
