Jessica Lynn Bruce Powell

Jessica Lynn Bruce Powell, 38, of Moultrie, died Monday, April 29, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 11:00 am, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Partain officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. James Bruce, Dillyn Partain, Silas Partain, Robert Partain, Jesse Partain, and Josh Hanes, will all serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held the same day of the service from 10:00 am until the hour of service.

Born on June 27, 1985, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of Jeff Bruce and the late Kathie Jean Wilson Bruce. Jessica's vibrant personality touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her passion for arts and crafts, scrapbooking, and creating beautiful collages showcased her creative spirit. She had a particular fondness for Red Camaros, often admiring their sleek design and powerful presence. The sunflower was her favorite flower, symbolizing her radiant and warm essence. Her love for Cheetah print clothing added a touch of wild elegance to her style. Jessica's knack for capturing precious moments through photography immortalized memories that will live on forever. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Ann Bruce.

She is survived by her children, Cody Powell and Blakelyn Powell, both of Moultrie; father, Jeff Bruce and wife Brenda of Hartsfield; sister, Katie Bruce Partain and husband Rev. Shannon of Moultrie; stepbrother, Bruce Bishop, Jr. of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.
