Jessica Lauren “Jessie” Robertson, born on May 2, 1996, in Buncombe, left this world on Sunday, May 5, 5024. She was a dedicated dispatcher at Buncombe Public Safety Communications, where she served with unwavering professionalism.
Jessie's journey was marked by significant educational milestones. She graduated from Erwin High School in 2014 and went on to pursue her passion by enrolling in the nursing program at AB Tech. Her pursuit of knowledge and her desire to make a difference reflected her compassionate nature.
One of Jessie's proudest accomplishments was her deep love for animals. She found fulfillment in rescuing and providing a safe haven for those in need. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many furry friends, embodying her nurturing spirit.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jessie's life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Victory Baptist Church located at 80 Olivette Road, Asheville, NC 28804, with Reverend O’Neal McCall officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
In mourning her loss yet cherishing her memory, Jessie is survived by her loving mother, Debbie McElreath (Tim) of Leicester; devoted father, Dale Robertson of Weaverville; caring brother, Jackson Robertson of Asheville; maternal grandparents, Ray and Christine Jackson of Asheville; uncle Mike Robertson (Debbie) of Marion; and aunt Sandra Robertson of Morganton. Their hearts are heavy with grief as they reflect on the profound loss of a cherished daughter, sister, niece, and friend.

As we bid farewell to Jessica Lauren “Jessie” Robertson, may we carry forward her legacy of compassion, warmth, and unconditional love for all living beings. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
